[fwlug] Linux "fork"

Hi!

I have a fortran program from a SGI SMP box that does  does coarse  grained
parallel stuff using "fork."   This does not work using the Intel fortran
compiler [there's no fork.]  Are there linux distros that have "fork"
available in fortran?  [This obviously shows my age.]
